For an car-parts manufacturer, we developed a dual gauge for dimensional inspection of the outer trim of plastic components.

A circumferential gauge clearance area, together with a go/no-go pin, allows minimum and maximum dimensions to be checked. Added to this are digital dial gauges that allow measurements of the outside trim at predefined positions with an accuracy of up to 0.01 mm.
